Mauri realized at an early age that dance was an outlet for him. Through movement, he could express himself and release emotions in a way that felt natural and authentic. He never saw dance as just a series of movements; to him, it was an art form that could be interpreted in many different ways. That freedom of expression is what made dance so special to him.

Driven by his passion to grow, Mauri enrolled in a dance program. From that moment on, he continuously challenged himself, attending four to five classes a week in addition to training during the weekends. His dedication and consistency allowed him to develop rapidly, both technically and creatively.

By being constantly involved in the dance community, Mauri built strong connections within the scene. Training alongside talented dancers exposed him to different perspectives and approaches to movement. These experiences played a significant role in improving his movement quality and expanding his understanding of dance.

Surrounding himself with dancers of a high level pushed Mauri to keep raising his own standards. He constantly had to adapt, learn, and challenge himself to match the level of those around him. This environment quickly pushed his growth, not only as a dancer but also as a person. 

Today, many of Mauri’s biggest inspirations are the people around him, including Mezack, Rosa, Florien, and Shay. He also gets a great deal of motivation from the friendships he has built within the dance community. Being surrounded by people who share the same drive, dedication, and ambition encourages him to keep pushing himself and striving for the highest level.

At this stage in his career, Mauri focuses on projects that genuinely resonate with him and align with his values. Whether it is performing in visuals, joining a theatre tour, or exploring other creative opportunities, he carefully chooses projects that reflect who he is as both an artist and a person. By staying true to himself and remaining open to new experiences, Mauri continues to grow, evolve, and build a meaningful career in dance.
